I saw this post a few days ago on Reddit, saying that as there is no legal gate/entrance nearby, people have to take a 4-5 hours journey by car to go from this Turkish village to the adjacent Bulgarian one. One can even easily start swimimg from one side and end up on the other side. Is there a constant armed forces patrolling on land or sea? In any case, that's really mind boggling for me, who is someone into maps/borders.
